ROLE – Producer, Web Designer | COLLABORATE WITH – Steve Cha, Team Revisions | TIME – 2015 FALL – 2016 SPRING
REVISIONS is a metafictional autobiographical game created by Steve Cha as his MFA thesis. Described by the creator, “it is a series of minigames chronicling moments from the life of the game creator. The first half of the game, the initial playthrough, adheres to the vignette-game traditions. The second half of the game then revisits these moments and enables the player to see past the illusions games employ. Ultimately, REVISIONS aims to show how the illusions used in gamemaking are metaphorical to illusions of memory.”
I was responsible for organizing production timeline for a team of 13 people. I worked with the creative director to recruit audio technicians and play testers. In the later half of the development process, I ran usability test sessions with developers and analysed the results for iterative designs, designed game website and posters for game festival showcases.
Revisions was selected to showcase at IndieCade2016, Meaningful Play2016 and etc.
